Kelly, I got a f/2.8 25-75 Tamron. My instructor recommended it. The Tamron version was about a 1/3 the cost of the Nikon version. So far I love it. I can keep the aperture wide open and zoom in and out. My old (kit)lens had a variable aperture and would change my f-stops when I zoomed. I'm looking forward to blurry backgrounds!
Leslie,if you make another "action" picture, put Andrew under the goal posts(soccer goal posts)and Owen kick the ball ,try to catch the ball in the air and andrew in the air too!with your new lens.
