Favorite part of my day today
Andrew and Owen follow the same bedtime routine. After they've bathed, pajama'd, and read books, I snuggle with each boy (each getting to be first on alternating nights) and ask them "what was the favorite part of your day?". Andrew likes to talk about playing outside, kids church or donuts. Owen always says the same thing: playing with Tania (his teacher). Today I had a moment I don't want to forget that was absolutely the favorite part of my day. I picked up Andrew from Kindercare and before he left his classroom, his good friends each asked for a hug. Andrew went to his four best friends (all boys) in turn and gave each one a big hug. I was bursting with love, pride, and a touch of sadness because I know little boys don't stay like this forever. I have to say I love 4.5 (almost 5).

Les, I do think they stay like this forever-just look at the loving men we married. There are times where they will hide it, to be cool or some such silliness, but they will always have love and kindness in their hearts. I believe.

Ryan,at 27, still gives me bear hugs! He has always been a lovable, huggable kid. I bet Andrew and Owen will be too.
I hope so Rach and Jeanie. I want these boys to be loveable and huggable for ever!
