We're getting ready for our birthday weekend extravaganza. Andrew's 8th birthday party is on Saturday and Owen's 6th party is on Sunday. Although they might lack the personal touch of a home party, I am so really thankful for the birthday party industrial complex and bounce-house purveyors. Both parties are planned with just a couple of phone calls and a trip to Party City.

The Toothfairy came to visit us last night! Owen lost his first tooth yesterday! Well, didn't lose it, he plucked it right out of his mouth like a rock star. Since it happened at school, his teacher brought him up to the front of the room and shared his big news with the class. He was so proud and excited!

This morning we had to remind him that there might be money under his pillow - he totally forgot about the loot! (Just another way he is so different from his brother ;-)

Another exciting event this week was Andrew getting his brown belt in Taekwondo. He was so proud of himself and did such a good job during his test. He really showed a lot of power and confidence. We are super proud of him.
