Breakthrough

This morning we picked up G-Pa and GeGe and headed to Laguna for some fish tacos. After lunch we walked down to the beach. Today was beautiful after a week of cold, rainy weather.

Eric has been waiting for today since Andrew's first trip to the beach at a week old. Today Andrew gleefully and enthusiastically played in the water and started chasing waves. No complaining about the sand, no fear of the water, he was just having a great time.

Good times.

The Capron back 40 (sq ft) is producing food! So remember those carrots Andrew and I planted about 6 months ago? Well, we have some results! Andrew was so excited. The original plan was to teach Andrew a little something about where food comes from and that it doesn't come just from the grocery store. But what I think we've taught him is that you can start a project, completely forget about for months and voila - results!
Hmm...

Anyhoo, Andrew was very excited about the carrot.
